As previously reported on Mojo, 37-year-old Nuril "Dini" Papapietro was run down and killed by a driver in the white minivan, outside Gilda's Club in the Highlands. The search is still on for the hit-and-run assailant who, some say, seemingly deliberately swerved to hit her.
Apparently Papapietro fell down while crossing the street. Although one approaching car easily avoided her, the next made no effort to do so, veered in her direction, ran over her body with both tires, and sped off.
According to WAVE, Dini's employer Global Entertainment is offering a reward for any information leading to the identification and arrest of the minivan's driver.
Yesterday, the LMPD released another repeated request for anyone with more information to come forward. Call the anonymous LMPD crime tipline at 574-LMPD (574-5673).
