The Humane Society is offering a $2500 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person who kidnapped and killed Limo, a long-haired Dachshund belonging to Jimmy Golden and his 9-year-old son.
Limo vanished on March 1st, then someone returned the dog's dead body three weeks later, leaving the corpse across the street from his yard in Bullitt County. His hind legs were duct-taped together.
"I could set in my chair at night. He would climb in my lap and watch TV with me. He's missed, greatly missed and what happened to him broke my heart," Golden said.
The Bullitt County Sheriff's Department is investigating.
Anyone with information is asked to call 502-543-1262 and ask for Assistant Chief Larry Coy.

The Kentucky Registry of Election Finance recently received a troubling report from its general counsel, Emily Dennis. She has determined there is probable cause to suspect Ronald Holmes, former Jefferson County Coroner, of violating Kentucky campaign contributions laws. Reportedly Holmes mishandled some contributions and omitted reporting others altogether.
Dennis is recommending that the Registry bring the case to the Attorney General for further investigation. Holmes, who claims to have kept no records on his campaign finances, has until May 15 to come up with the necessary documentation.

Vincent Irvin, a soldier at Fort Knox, brought his computer to an on-post repair service because of a virus. Reportedly the technicians found child pornography on the computer, and called the police.
WLKY quoted Elizabethtown police Officer Virgil Willoughby as saying, "What happens between a husband and wife is the very same thing you're going to see with these small seven, eight-year-old children. So very graphic and very sad."
Willoughby said the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children has actually been able to identify several of the children seen on Irvin's computer. "We have some that have not been identified. We just know these kids are out there. Very, very sad," Willoughby told WLKY.
I hope they find the bastard who did this and hang them from a tree by their balls if it is a guy. I HATE people who hurt animals. It's so sad! If the person is caught they will probably be sentenced to a year in prison but, will only serve half of it. It's a sad world. These people are sick.
"Officer Virgil Willoughby as saying, "What happens between a husband and wife is the very same thing you're going to see.."
Who was he talking to a 6 year old? No matter how disturbing it might be, just call it sexually graphic. You won't go to hell for saying it. I promise. Besides...husbands and wives? If the kids went to bed early and the dude stayed up rubbing one out watching free internet porn, THEN it would be what happens between husbands and wives.
Terrible sad and disturbing nevertheless. We all know it is happening out there and yet it is always shocking to hear about it. We can only hope this dumbass incriminated a few more dirty bastards along with himself.
What I don't get is how the person can be convicted of killing the dog, when a while back that dog food company did basically the same thing. Their dog food killed a lot of dogs and their was nothing anyone could do about it. Don't get me wrong, I see the difference. Whoever did this is a POS, but its still the same thing.
I think it is sad. I hope they find out who did this to this dog and hang this person up by a tree. The child pornography is sick too. I hope they hang that person out to dry for a long time too.
That's the saddest thing I've read in a long time. I hope they catch the person who did this and tie them up by their hind legs and let them suffer like Limo did..
To compare any crime against a dog to sexual abusing a human child is ridiculous. Dogs aren't people. They're animals, just like the chickens and cows which you consume and that are brutally slaughtered so you can all get fat.
I'm a multi-purpose media interloper working around the globe to make our world a weirder place to live in, but choose to call the dark and bloody ground of Jefferson County, Transylvania (some still call it Kentucky) my home base of operations.
